The Cost of unsynchronized Sleep Care: Measured in Lives

Lea Desmarteau is a healthcare entrepreneur, innovator, and the founder and CEO of WellNecessities Holdings Inc. and SleepNavigator. Starting her career as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), Lea brings over 30 years of hands-on clinical and operational leadership to the sleep medicine industry.
After building WellNecessities into a successful, multi-state sleep management business, she grew frustrated by a fragmented system where patients constantly fell through the cracks between doctors, labs, and treatment. To fix it, she leaped into health tech and created SleepNavigator. A software platform now backed by major networks like Ochsner Health to synchronize the entire care journey.
As a speaker, Lea blends deep clinical credibility with the gritty reality of building a business. She speaks candidly about health tech innovation, bootstrapping healthcare enterprises, and what it actually takes to fix patient care from the inside out.
